Yeah, 3 months is good as 2 months is a bit close since shit happens. If the earlier scanlator comes back then nice you get two versions of a chapter. Hell, there's a handful of series that I'm aware of that have two different scanlators releasing their own translations. As long as you're not being a total dick about it, it's all good.
