The fact that they're even in this situation is braindead. You captured the literal second most important person of the kingdom (a basically one-way ticket to ending the war) and also captured the villainess who instigated everything. And just threw them in a minimum security dungeon while you did what, stick your thumb up your ass until you remembered that you should probably interrogate these guys. Why not just interrogate them right after the battle? What could possibly be more important than negotiating an end to the war?

Thing is, that's "the most maximum security" they have, and it should be with all guards, the biggest wrench in the gear is the fact that there's unexpected CHARM WITCH B*TCH, which turn some of guards from maximum security to opposite.
Without the CHARM WITCH B*TCH, thing would ended there.

Exactly! They’re in a room full of guards who are supposed to be on their side. And all the prisoners are supposed to be tied up. It’s not at all strange that Allen and his team would assume they were fully neutralized.

not fully physically. He used a lot of tricks and tactics to overpower him during the duel but here he’s unarmed (because again, he should be completely safe in a room full of guards), he was hit with a surprise attack he didn’t see coming, and this dude probably has psycho strength from the brainwashing. (Think like how a mom can lift a car off her baby)

People are rightfully pissed, after an immense struggle against armies and other bullshit, the MC finally captures his worst enemies and then puts them together in a group interrogation?? (First of all, who the hell even does that? You need to question them separately to figure out the truth.) He could've easily checked her status from behind the door, you didn't need to literally walk in there. MC demonstrated such solid thinking and proper action for the entirety of the series and then fumbles it at the most critical moment, yeah, it's beyond stupid.

If MC died right there I couldn't really say it wasn't undeserved.

Ok, i get it, the prince is more useful alive, but why the others?... just chop some heads and be done with it, put a sack on the saintess, like, even without the whole charm, she already had a lot of men with her, having a guard fall for her is not that hard to imagine... but i guess the plot needs to be longer

Somehow she didn't just use her powers when they were being captured or all the time to brainwash most folks.
Keep their weapons close by for no reason.
Never use appraisal on them to see their abilities.
Somehow they'll escape from an enemy fortification/city.
