It was still nice to see the antagonists shamefully apologize in front of the school body, even if it was clearly insincere and half-assed. I'd actually like it if that caused lasting damage to their reputation in school. Though it is clear from their faces, especially Amy's, that this won't be the last confrontation between them and our protagonists. They'll surely plot something and strike back given the chance.
Ana just declared Allen to be hers in public. You love to see it. While he didn't outright officially get promoted from commoner to her knight, in practice he already is. And I love how her friends see it that way. He and his mother are still commoners, but now under official protection of the House of Ramslett.
The not so sweet reality check in this chapter is from Ana's father, even while he's aware that his daughter may have fallen in love with Allen, he also continues to hold the idea that she will be eventually married off to someone else holding a high enough position for their family's political gain. Well, that's within expectations given his character.
But it's not like all is lost for Ana's love with Allen. In theory, if he somehow manages to gain a high enough political position, not only can he use that to ensure his mother's safety, but maybe he can also convince the duke himself...
