"I'm soooo embarassed, I totally don't want to show my great boyfriend off to my family! But if you insist, if I must..."

Umi, girl. Chill, even if your family approves, marriage and children are like a decade away!

Please continue scanlating this as long as you don't face issues with YP. Thanks for the translations so far.

I believe scanlator groups should only respect official publishers that actually publish their chapters in MD (ie. Mangaplus). So unless Yen Press make a fuss, you guys should continue with your work.

Yen's TL won't release until next summer and will be several volumes behind for the foreseeable future. I personally hope y'all keep at it so i can compare and contrast this version to the "official".

Also, nice of Umi to only half-heartedly deny Maki as her kareshi setting up the end of this particular mini-arc. No way do her folks greenlight the Umippai counseling session if she's clear.

At the rate they're going in the novels, student marriage as third-years would be the least surprising thing imaginable. If Maki is capable of rizzing up another top-tier girl as thoroughly as he does while actively trying not to, Umi's gonna hafta lock him up for good the second that's legally possible.

If you are able I would encourage you to keep scanlating for those who do not have access to the official release. Also while Yen press does usually a decent job at translating, your quality is top notch.

I am just glad a Yen press picked this up Over J-Novel Club so it actually gets a physical release. Rather then the physical release being held hostage based on performance of the digital release. They have a couple of series I quite like that will probably never reach the (currently) 10% of their series that they publish physically.

I personally would love to you to continue until you are asked by yen press to stop.

Most official releases consider the English releases as secondary and are usually slow and poor quality

I'm on team "please keep translating." I think I've bought some Yen Press books before and while the translation quality is OK from what I've read, it's likely going to take them a good while to reach this point in the story and I don't want to sit and wait for like a year and a half to pick the story back up.

I plan to buy the official release, though I would like to keep reading your scanlations. As Y P only publish complete volumes, they will never reach the latest raws 'cause they have to wait they are bundled in a volume in Japan first. However, the decision is yours.
As always, thank you for your translation! :hearts:
