Man, this manga has "progress". There's been more in 5 chapters than some manga with 3-4 volumes out.

It does, though I fear a " wishy-washy" phase on the horizon. Though maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised and it'll be a reiwa-esque "struggles of dating an idol" instead. Both have the requisite drama, my plate for "waiting for the connection" is just a little full, and this one is prime for post-confession longevity. Unless the author wants to do both... Still I'd prefer the "dating drama" route.

The "Ichijou-kun, it's fine" at the end is understated. If she just said like "いいの” then "it's fine" would work, but "一条くんがいいんです" is her telling him that she wants to hang out with him more than others.
