Ugh. A generic concept, but one which was being handled pretty well. Ending it on just this chapter is just bonkers to me. It wasn't at a high point, this is like the second battle? Doesn't even feel like a full arc.

And ending it with the creepy heir, doesn't make me care one bit about the story. At least, The Day's After the Hero's Return, ( https://mangadex.org/title/84f193ec-e731-4bd4-bcb5-09e85dca3ebc/kikanshita-yuusha-no-gojitsudan ) actually introduced a wider cast of characters for people to like. Even if I lamented that ending, it gave hope for a more in depth character story.

This... This is just so shallow. It makes me want to take back my like of the initial story.
