Oh... it seems that there is even more to the whole "monopoly of resources" than I had thought.
And at least a few people weren't exactly blind to some of the "plotholes" in that hero "system".
Clevatess is having a blast with this, just this reveal must be making him think that sparing Luna was worth it.
I want to say one thing that I don't want to happen in this series, it is a little long-winded... Iwahara-sensei has the habit of escalating things too quickly at the end of his stories, what I mean by that is more or less this... Studio Trigger for quite some time was infamous for making the last battle in their animes always happen in space, but the setup of that was always quite forced, so much so that it became a meme, Iwahara-sensei has a similar problem, in the last part of his stories things always seem to become too big which takes away something of the "intimacy" his stories had before that point.
I don't have a problem with a bombastic finale... but he doesn't make the transition smooth, things go from "localized destruction" directly to "universal stakes", there is a middle ground that he doesn't land into before going for that explosive moment, and I think when he or any author does that... it is like they want to put a complete stop in their story like after they stop writing it... there isn't anything anymore.
I like it when authors construct a world that feels alive enough that it can "live on" even if they don't write about it anymore.
There will be new problems and dangers, but new people will rise up to the challenge even after the heroes we followed pass away because that is how life is... as long as life exists new things will happen.
So I hope that when this series concludes, Iwahara-sensei allows this world to still "exist", and I hope he can make this transition smoothly.
