If the author gets paid per upload i can imagine them dragging it out/respect the hustle.

Or maybe they haven't planned for the 'end' or aftermath of it because feels like even if they know, it'd be awkward for them to just start dating/become a couple, even if the 'audience' is rooting for them (because realistically idk if you would become a couple because i can't imagine Aki rly wanting to date a coworker, even if she's actually straight and not bi/a lesbian)

tho be hilarious if they just stayed in denial or so but maybe the serialized version will have them be a proper talk
