If you truly wanted to be neutral, you wouldn't have created this thread notice at all and gathered every user's attention on this American domestic issue.
Anyway, I can't wait for the news in a week or two.

I think it would be problematic to have it inserted on a manga itself.

Its similar to those game company that make such political statements that's really forceful despite not related to them.

Wonder when they will sack the WHO staff for getting bribed by the CCP. One of the worst human rights violation in recent history just as horrible as USA's police activity. They won't even name the individual responsible for signing off on the no-ban recommendation for international travel from China back to their country. Caution should have been the foremost thing on their mind and to totally trust a secretive and aloof government like the CCP on final description about the Coronavirus's deadly contagious factor was incompetency, malpractice and I personally believe, plain old underhanded dealing with bribe money exchanging hands.

Those responsible for letting the CCP get away with inadvertently tanking the lives of entire countries of people causing untold amounts of suffering should be prosecuted and held accountable for their harmful actions. The WHO head particularly needs to be fired and a more competent head along with staff should be instated asap.

I just want to express my sincere gratitude to the staff for officially not taking a stance.

For a lot of people living outside the US this whole thing looks quite ludicrous, if not outright utterly confusing, and the actions of major entertainment and not only corporations generate clear despise in hearts of many. Since we don't see or feel whatever real issues folks there can experience for real, to us it just looks like major brands, people, entities supporting violent uncontrolled mob outcries and, well, the actual idea of some people being more important than others, even though they present it as the other way around.

What has been happening in the general media during the last decade or so, at least for me, truly feels repulsive. From my point of view, such enforcement of certain opinions creates a reverse effect, actually promoting the very thing these media try to "fight," since people naturally start associating all kinds of negative feelings with the ideas that are being forced upon them in such a quantity and in such a hypocritical, artificial ways.
Compare Mary Sue trope. Even though she may be a normal person, and you honestly have nothing against her, she talks and praises herself so much, and demands from others so much attention and praise, that you can't help feeling tired, annoyed, negative, and, in the end of the road, hateful towards someone you initially felt truly neutral about. The dose makes the poison.

So, yeah, thank you. I mean it.

It's disheartening to see this just seen as a "political issue". This is more than just Americans and the concepts of justice and accountability reaches far beyond the borders of the United States. Protests have taken place worldwide, this is not just about the United States. To not stand behind justice and human rights and to simply dismiss the issue entirely makes you complicit in aiding injustice. For this site to be seen as a safe haven for incredulity is nothing but a shame. African-Americans, Uyghurs, Muslims, and many other ethnic minorities cannot escape their lives of injustice and tyranny, and for only a moment, to dismiss this is absolutely horrifying. I am not demanding this site hail this protest in absolute determination, but I encourage that those who do not care, those who believe that they have no opinion, those who are neutral, to stand behind this movement. There is no greater threat to human being and dignity than moderation.

I'm just gonna write a message telling people to stay off social media for their mental health on my credit page.

@BuffSoul It's not that people are not aware. Usually, most people are. They just don't find your message convincing and honest. They also aren't sheep to be easily led around and manipulated. I have no sympathy for the people responsible for the dude's death, but I will never take BLM seriously. A movement created on a lie.

@gatordreams16 It's not a privilege to just keep yourself away from the insanity of the world and relax your mind, especially on the internet. That's a choice someone can make for themselves. Get the fuck off social media and play some video games or whatever. The whole trend of inserting politics into everything have become much more unbearable since 2015 and it's only getting worse with more idiots trying to virtue signal everywhere they go these days.
You know what is it that the black community really need to get away from, but can't? Their own black criminals. No. It's not the police or some white boogey men that are killing your own people. It's your own people that are killing each other. If you only get news from CNN and Twitter, of course you won't realize this. The police should really just fuck off away from black neighborhoods because at this point, they are a lost cause. They'll get the "cops don't care about our lives" but not like they can do anything better, either. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Just fuck off out of there.
As for MD, if they don't talk about Hong Kong, or other world issues, they have no reason to take a side in this matter, either. There's a time and place for everything. There's already enough talk about this in other places.

@Kanami-chan It's good to have at least one comment from the staff. Otherwise, we might start to see a bunch of political credit pages from scanlators. Better to tell them to cool their jet beforehand.

@BusyGrade A lot of people are against injustice. But unlike some folks, they don't feel the need to broadcast it everywhere for brownie points. Not to a bunch of strangers who they don't even know on the internet.

No stance is fair. I live in the US and support the protests more than I'm against it. However, history with the movement name + having one of the worst coronavirus responses in the world are the main things I have against it.

There's legitimate reasons to think the movement is good and bad. The actions smart and stupid.

Even if it's plain ignorance or actually being a closet racist, it's fine to not take a stance. You're allowed to.

@BusyGrade I hope you realize calling blacks African-American is a problem itself in a worldwide context.

I've seen lots of videos and listen to lot of people on this matter outside the mainstream, and what i got is that this protest can be probably another fake, i mean, some videos show clear evidence that police and some left wings extremist (antifa) fuel this farce, they disguise within the protesters and broke shops windows and share "weapons" (youtube and facebook censor such videos very fast).
Since covid wasn't enought to destabilize Trump and elections are close the globalist left wing is trying this card. I laso read that the policeman and the black "victim" were friends.
Apart this, when you protest over something and you use this as an excuse to broke shops and beat innocent people it mean you are just a scum that exploit a "legitimate" protest for yourself and not because you really believe in it. In my life i'm always wary about mainstream news since they are a cesspool of fake news and this time seems indeed no different. This is what i think.

@Nick86 Actors?????? How delusional are you to claim that the literal murder of a black man recorded for everyone to see acknowledged by the police is some kind of leftist agenda? Stop drinking the kool aid, it ain’t good for your mind

@Halo - Why i should? There is already enought video and info about this farce outside the mainstream, no need to explain further, moreover since mods open a forum to gather our opinions i just express mine without attach anyone since i respect all people opinions, this is freedom of speech.

@Nick86 with all due respect, you’re a fucking moron, and I think you’re desperately searching for a way to justify your insane views and discredit the protests. You can literally see the mans autopsy, watch the video as he dies from police brutality, and yet you still remain a moron as you spit your vile conspiracies. Incredible.

Here we fucking go again. 😒
Just ban all american politics posts and tell them to go to reddit instead. Discussing politics has always turned into a shitshow since smartphones were made. Now every site has to be either for or against something when people just want to be left alone to do whatever it is the site was made for (such as reading manga).

By allowing politics, you get jannies that scrape the entire forums (to use it against people they don't like, not to preserve history) and are always trying to dox someone or get your site taken down if you don't lick their boot.

@Tlos - Insulting me and using the old conspiracy card only enforce the fact that you have no evidence, if not it show only how ignorant you are since you believe any fake news and shit everyone else do not share your vision or the vision of real people behind this. Whatever.
