Why did they even introduce the female detective if they are going to just capture and break her off screen this quickly? Is she just going to serve as a motivation for her fiancée or her colleague? Kinda reminds me how Death Note introduced that female detective who IIRC was suspicious of Light but then he got rid of her really quickly. And that was after her fiancée already died so that was the end of that storyline.

I do like the gyaru girl though.
