For some reason I though this was gonna be about a gender-bent protagonist, looking at the cover. Could've had so much potential, but alas...

I always get disappointed by Korean and Chinese works. They bait us with good art, but the story is always shite. They also like to insert their nationalistic politics into their work, while Japanese works will mostly annoy you by bragging about their food.

If anyone has a good recommendation for Korean or Chinese stuff, I'd very much like to see something with actually good writing. I can't honestly recommend anything from what I've read.

At most, Solo Leveling, but I kinda got bored of it around when he became S-ranked and just stopped reading. Don't even feel like finishing it now that it's completed. I got spoiled that it had some sort of tismy ending. It's also going the Boruto route, so feck that.

So basically, the issue isn't they an aggregator that also does their Own TLs. (like mangacultivator which does the Fated Villain TL, better and more prompt than Asura... they really dropping the ball on that series).

But that they were removing the credit parts, and charging people for them?

quoting my post from ch. 18
A few no group scanlators reported them for stealing their chapters. Turns out they downloaded no group chapters from comick, an aggregator. Their gl then telling us that our problem should be with Comick ("isn't it your job to also check other websites?"), etc. didn't help them when he was appealing the ban.
And I'm not even mentioning their website being more than just "excessive profiteering" for being filled with trackers/ads, having an overpriced shop with 133 chapters for $43 (4000 coins)?????
An official publisher offering such prices already shouldn't be acceptable (cough webtoons.com), but a scanlation group doing this is an entirely different thing...
So yes, it was because they were classified as an aggregator that removes credits.
