Will definitely have to reread it after the volume(s) come out though, since I also remember her as "one of the café maids, right?". Though wasn't even sure of that, felt like she could've been one of the maidified classmates as well.

(As a side note, reading the chapters out of order like this has some nostalgic charm to it. Like being a kid and only being able to borrow odd volumes from libraries or older kids of your parents' friends, hoping they have the subsequent volume but having to be content if they don't.)

No backlash, the author was simply unsatisfied with the direction they were setting up for and decided on rewriting said chapters/execute it differently. Though if this means this new character/plotline they introduced would be written out completely is yet to be seen.
