You wouldn't like any manga that had realistic speech in it. So many ums, ahs, incomplete sentences, and discussions that lead nowhere. So I don't think comparing real life to a manga makes sense.
Yeah, I usually don't like harems either. I don't care too much about fanservice one way or another, but harems are usually indicative of shallow writing.
Well, I've dropped some mangas or animes because they're too toxic while expecting me to root for the characters, like Maid Dragon or Your Lie in April, art I can't stand, like One Piece or others I never even tried for that reason, just not caring about the characters after a few chapters/episodes (some josei and slice of life), and a lot because I just wasn't enjoying them anymore. But as for small specific reasons, don't think so.
