I think the safest bet for them in this instance would've been to give it for free. Maybe collect several orbs(maybe even 10+) and just have it sent to major countries either through the agents or something. They have tons of money and will continue to make tons of money after this. This all seemed like an unnecessary risk to take on something they know will have countries gunning for them just to get more money.
