We don't know about Kousuke's (big bro) secret because we get very little from his POV, or with him talking about himself... We do know he has some sort of secret from chapter 20 (near the end), but even in that context it's kinda hard to guess what it could be.
Maybe, just maaaayyybe, some of the stuff in that chapter can be read as him being gay for his friend, accepting it as something impossible. And it wouldn't be that unthinkable for the author either, so...

I won't say the A word don't worry, I think it ended alright for the most part, not perfect, but serviceable enough.

This wasn't the first series set in this universe, though, and it certainly feels like the next installment is being teased here, probably something thematically switching away from the story this title implies to something more broadly about its sub-theme: the secrets people keep.

I love Josei and Seinen stiff like these because of how realistic and casual people do adult stuff

"Suggestive" on the 'dex is pretty much a visual tag and requires the presence of certain conditions to be invoked, usually some form of non-sexual or mildly-sexual frontal nudity (censored or not). BokuYaba just had an entire chapter focused on Kyou and Anna getting to second base onscreen while spending the night in her bed and didn't trip the flag; there's nothing here even close to that.

What is this chapter? Haven't we had every plot thread definitely concluded by chapter 21, and there was no need to have any sort of follow up?

Since the secret of the older brother is not yet to be confirmed that has been found and the rivalry of the MC of Sweet home Alabama and the annoying Idol boy.
