I feel really bad for Aria. Yeah, she felt some attraction to Rovel, but she had no intent to act on it. Couldn't the goddesses have just, I dont know, told their sister what was going on so they could talk it out like adults and not put anyone, including their niece, in danger?

The goddesses are fucking stupid, they caused a shit show because the aunt thought that the super handsome person with a CHARM ability was cute, she wasn't going to do anything like trying to have an affair or anything. You can be in a relationship with someone, but still be sexually aware and attracted to other people, you just don't act on it, and the aunt wasn't going to act on that shit since she's getting married. Everyone's giving her shit whilst it's the goddesses who created the fucked up situation in the first place by changing their standards for literal thought crimes.

It's not the aunt's faults, it's the goddesses who're inconsistant fucks who never thought what their actions would've lead too.

Kinda wish the author wouldn't have made Aria seem like such a bitch. Lets not kid ourselves here, people are attracted to others even when they're married to someone they love. That part of the brain doesn't just shut off the moment you find your soulmate and anyone suggesting otherwise is either lying or delusional. Even our cute heroine points this out herself and that the goddesses are just being extra strict on her.

They could have made Aria's situation more of a passing fancy and still got her punished for the same in-story reasons as now, but they blew it up and made her character seem quite vindictive about the whole ordeal. Pretty sure Sauvel just wants his wife and child, saying he believes in her, but to everyone else, that pretty ugly display looked more like "oh okay I'll avoid making a legit pass at bro-in-law 'cause otherwise I'm actually gonna die" not because "I genuinely love my husband and wouldn't cheat on him even if his bro is kinda hot".

Rather than Sauvel having a comedy makeover and getting the attention of all sorts of girls, not making his actual wife seem like a whore in the first place would have been a nicer move, seeing as, you know, she was put in the story as his actual loving partner in contrast to the abomination he was technically married to..

She did everything wrong. It's pretty obvious she was ok with marrying the uncle, but once she saw his brother's looks she immediately got the hots for him. She went straight for physical contact when trying to serve him tea. She didn't stop her feelings after seeing the hero's beautiful wife. She proceeded to try and apologize to the Hero once she was made aware that she put his daughter in a bind, instead of apologizing to the mother who was talking to her. She arrogantly tries to dismiss Ellen's words, while ignoring she's the daughter of the guy she was lusting after and an actual member of the family by blood, not by marriage.

It's was obvious she would have tried to deepen their relationship, and if you're stupid enough to try and cuck a goddess, then you deserve everything you get.

I enter this chapter's chat expecting turbo virgins to go full "begone thot!" but I was pleasantly surprised many of you still have a cool head to judge things.
I agree with what @sirflimflam and @MoonyRuney have said, the Goddesses are just dicks and they could've handled things better with Aria. She seems like a nice girl, but just extremely unlucky. Same with the Father. He could've just play it nicely when he realized that Aria is attracted to him, something like "Hey you, I know I'm handsome and that, but you already have my brother who is also a fine man. Also I have a charm so the feeling of yours might be just a side effect that you can't control, lol. Be sure to not think of me when you do the vow!". But instead he turned somewhat cold and contempt like a primary school kid which thinks hating girls are cool.

@Walter_vi_Britannia Prior to this chapter, I might have agreed with you. But her attitude here was not indicative of someone who can’t be faulted for having a type because she stubbornly prioritized that instantaneous feeling of lust for her brother-in-law over everything else that was important to her prior to meeting him until being told that her life would be in danger from a mundane source of power for petty reasons. She also could have been honest with her Sauvel about her feelings rather than trying to lie about her crush before the all-knowing spirits.

from what I saw, the aunt worked at pub, the place where a lot of diffirent people come, so naturally she can choose who ever she want to marry beside uncle, given that she know uncle "wife" was king princess.
