Ooooh ho ho, the thick plottens.
Thanks for the chapter~! Really loving how comfy this series has been, interested in how the plot'll continue from here. Wonder if Kouta'll also awaken to preferring living life as a girl~

Congratulation, sir, you just normal teenage boy. Also, I suggest you to start attend carnal knowledge or biology class, especially in reproduction courses.

I could see the plot somehow involving nagisa stay as a girl somehow. But there's more going on in this manga than should be normal. They keep on referencing some big experiment that's going on plus some crazy German my brain said "girl, that word isn't worth reading today".

That being said, I will get kind of annoyed if aliens somehow become a major plot point and the growing romantic tension between kouta and nagisa devolves into gags like what happened in that manga about the childhood friend who turns into a girl and is at the risk of getting stuck. When they decided the main guy will also have the condition now and turns into a literal frigging child.

That being said, I respect a manga series which examines gender and sexuality. I just wish cultural mores didn't necessitate it being done through cheap gags and chapters that essentially go nowhere.

so… is Kouta trans? Or at least in the egg?
Personally, I'm hoping, but with the extra 'Behind-The-Scenes' plot, I think we'll all need to wait until later chapters to know what's real and what's artificially influenced.

Risk of getting stuck?? Don't think I've read that manga, could I get the Title?

I think the title is "I Am Worried That My Childhood Friend Is Too Cute" which has a similar premise. Though a plot point was that the character ran the risk of becoming stuck that way and that they were fine with it. But then someone dropped chapter 31 out of nowhere and I'm kind of disappointed with it. Without any context, it looks like the story just derailed and is stuck that way.

Oh that title sounds familiar, I'll have to give it a read/re-read

And yeah, with you explaining further, I have dropped anime/manga/tv shows for similar affairs. It's nice if you go into wanting that experience, but if you get lured in with promise of a resolution I can totes see the gripe.

Thanks for the reply~

So this teases that the series is probably going to end when the last male in the story, the MC, becomes gender fluid too. And in all likelihood the trigger is going to be falling in love because it is the only emotion that is missing.
Either that or doing some kind of Tsubasa introspection where he realizes that his masculine pervert boyness is a defense mechanism to hide his envy of the gender fluid kids.
This reminds me of that series that ended last year Tensei Pandemic and the ending seems like it will be the same.
