And I love that it sticks the landing with the positive gender identity messaging. I was NOT expecting that.

My sole complaint about the story pulling back to look at the big picture is that we ought to have been teased with a girls school developing something similar. (i.e. the same story is happening elsewhere with some BL implications)

But damn I've not felt this good about a TSF manga's ending in a long time.

Happy this ended, mixed feelings. On one hand I liked the characters and the way they turned out.

On the other one... Jeebus Crust, unethical and evil. Pity we don't see any official that experimented on people without their consent behind the bars, at the very least.
