We're really just...playing off horrible torture of prisoners as a joke, huh? No, uh, concerns about what it says about the MC that she's eagerly brainwashing real people (to her, anyway) with drugs and writing porn about it? You sure we're not addressing that one? Alright, then.

Every single maid in that territory is already corrupted, it seems. What a dangerous territory.

@Whocares Like... I get what you mean. But you can’t just get serious with this whole manga. You gotta take it as it is. Even it’s just sooo wrong

@WhoCares Pretty much, yeah. It's fairly common among manga for men being raped to be played for laughs.
See: One-Punch Man's "Puri Puri Prisoner", who is a walking gay panic stereotype, with his implied sexual assault on prisoners being seen as something hilarious.

@WhoCares @OraOraApril19 they're spies, saboteurs and assassins, unlawful combatants like them aren't protected even by IRL conventions, much less to say by medieval fantasy world. Sei-kun tried to assassinate Matisa, mind you, and by all means, should be long dead.

@labanina Not disagreeing with you here. Just thought that a better way to explain things would be "Spies, saboteurs and assassins are a bunch of people who don't exist. And if they don't exist, there are no war crimes"

@WhoCares Well, a few chapters back the FL was forced to have sex with questionable consent because it was her duty as a wife and that was just played off for laughs. I feel like this series just glosses over a lot of heavy topics and plays up the BL and other laughs. I mean, the countrys in this story seem to go to war very often, soldiers are dying by the thousands and spies and assassins are pretty common place, it's shit world Would not want to get isekai'ed into it any more than some war of the Three Kingdoms knock off.

Seriously by this point it should be obvious that this manga's brand of humor likes to make light of things that are problematic IRL. Either you can live with it or you find something else to read.
