Damn, those tests on the first day of new school year are real. What the hell with "you need to review what you learned in the last year", like hell I could remember after a long summer break. And, if you fail the test, must take supplement classes after school and tests in weekend until you pass to "catch up with your friends". I don't know if western schools have this thing.
Japanese schools might be high-level but thanks fucking God I wasn't born in Japan. There is no way my lazy ass could deal with shit like this, I would burn down the school the moment someone told me we were having a test on the first day because they expected me to spend my summer break studying.
luul, maybe from here things get more "interesting" 😁
@Gravenimage
i don't think, Haruki have settled down the story about dating, it's more simple that they create a new misunderstanding situation or at least is what i think🤔
however, it's really surprising that this manga haven't even an ecchi fanart, good!🙂
@Syltom There are quite a few Western nations, so who knows, but I hope not. Homework for summer vacations and test on the first day of school are certainly too demotivational.
This, my friends, where a summer/winter break isn't a break, day 1 tests, is the type of thing that gets Japan, a first world country, such a high suicide rate.
@Nakayuki
day 1 test seems like it would make sense for the educator
if too many students don't do well, then the lessons have to be adjusted to recap previous knowledge
otherwise, have the few students who didn't do well take supplementary classes so they don't get left behind in the regular lessons
Real talk: what monster teacher has a real test on the first day? A practice exam to see where students are and what they need to work on? Normal; it makes sense. A real test that you can fail and need to take supplementary lessons for? A whole new level of evil.
