Possibly, it's more likely that it's what I've seen happen and had happen, where someone tries to hook someone up that they are interested in but scared to go out with (because they don't want to break the friendship often). So they try to get them in a relationship because they think those feelings will fade and they will be able to stay friends more easily if they are in a committed relationship. It's like, the inverse of jealousy, in that they hope that them being unobtainable will make them less attractive.

Usually it doesn't work.

Thanks, that Shikkku mon is nice. It's not groundbreaking but I really like it, especially the anime adaptation (even if it relatively bland). Also that manga has a spinoff(written by the same author but different mangaka), which details the life of the MC before he reincarnated to that timeline (or maybe what would've happened if he didn't use his reincarnation spell). Not sure how much it is being updated nowadays but you might also want to check it out if you haven't yet.

You misspelled Himari's name about half of the time. In the last chapter as well. I guess this is a remnant of the MTL output. Definitely read everything twice, before and while pasting it on the page.
Rion's name is also wrong once, I think that is just a typo.
Since you don't translate it, I think it would look much better if you cleaned the page bloat as well (which is just a rectangle select, inverse and delete).
Lastly, try to maintain consistency in the fonts a bit more. For example: in the last panel on page 11, you reduced the font width so that it wouldn't overlap the face, which was a good decision. It would look more consistent if you had also used the same width for the left part. Alternatively, you could ignore the raw's layout and use the space above his head with less wrapping.

I think I've mentioned this before, but will you really not consider recruiting a proofreader? I think it would be much less work for you than re-uploading the pages multiple times after comments here on MD.
