Nuh uh, I hard stan himari
Nuh uh, I hard stan himari
I just noticed the raws are already at chapter 33 in uwu (I don't know if I can post other Websites here), Yuu call it 月下美人 (げつかびじん), "getsuka bijin" or "gekka bijin" according to Google Translate, no matter my kanji dictionary shows ゲツ (getsu) and not ゲッ (ge...), you know, Japanese being Japanese. According to Google Translate, that means "night beauty", but separating in "words", 月下 means "moonlight", while 美人 means "beauty (woman)", so it's nothing to do with flowers, it's something like "moonlight beauty".Thanks for the chapter.
I don't know if that's what the Japanese call this flower there, but the flower that appears in the manga is not a moon flower, it's a night blooming jasmine, I know because I have some in my garden, this plant only blooms once a year and only opens at night
In Portuguese (im from Brazil) the name of the flower is dama da noite ( lady of the night) or rainha da noite(Queen of the night), that's why I asked if in Japanese it was different because depending on the place it can have a different name, but in Japanese it is more similar to Portuguese than in English.I just noticed the raws are already at chapter 33 in uwu (I don't know if I can post other Websites here), Yuu call it 月下美人 (げつかびじん), "getsuka bijin" or "gekka bijin" according to Google Translate, no matter my kanji dictionary shows ゲツ (getsu) and not ゲッ (ge...), you know, Japanese being Japanese. I was expecting 月の花 (literally, "moon flower", a song in the last Sailor Moon movie). I guess the scanlators translated the name due to context, something very common.
It's not like it was all that sound to begin with.Poor Ennamoto… all that torture will destroy her mental health![]()
True, I'm not a flower expert, but in Spanish (I'm from México) the flower you mention it's called "dama de noche"... but leaving that aside, searching "月下美人" in Wikipedia didn't return me the night-blooming jasmine ("cestrum nocturnum"), but another plant from this continent called "epiphyllum oxypetalum", called here in México the same names you mention (except the "jasmine", which is replaced by "cereus")... or I got the names mixed, I really know little about flowers, but the names are references to beauty and moonlight (implying night). In Portuguese (im from Brazil) the name of the flower is dama da noite ( lady of the night) or rainha da noite(Queen of the night), that's why I asked if in Japanese it was different because depending on the place it can have a different name, but in Japanese it is more similar to Portuguese than in English.
Yes. I'm not sure I've ever gone from indifferent to hating one of the main characters of a manga this fast. Kinda seems like the author is a bit lacking in range for that type of character, so her doing the same annoying shit constantly gets old fast.Is it normal for me to hate Himari? She's becoming annoying at a point it's not funny anymore. Sadly, she's the FMC and Yuu will probably fall for her, but he deserves Emomoto.
Same. At first , for the first 5 chapters I was wanting for her to realize already that she should be with him then, but then she starts doing all these childish things and the author just lets her keep getting away with it. Plus. The MC is the kind to have no voice in his actions and just play along with whatever she does. Really wish she'd be left aside like she deservesIs it normal for me to hate Himari?
