The worst part is that i feel that Agawa´s fixation on Gotou was somewhat called out before, ever since the Akito arc, I feel that Takeda has hinted that Agawa makes it so obvious that she likes Gotou, to the point that, Agawa´s friends, Gotou´s friends and Akito know about it. Hell in the chapter after Shige tells Agawa about the ED situation, one of Agawa´s friends says that she should confess already. Also its painfully obvious that both Shigemi and Gotou´s mom figured that Agawa likes Gotou almost immediately.

As for the name thing, I guess its a comment of how little what its supposed to be the main couple have developed, by this point Shigemi knows more about Gotou than Agawa does, what i wonder is both what Gotous mom said to her the "what do you see in him" and since when and why she has does feelings, If i had to guess Agawa and Gotou feel for each other since their days as just friends in the library committe but honestly idk.
