Personally, I do want that baseball player who is Agawa's fuck buddy get a more prominent role in the story as a new rival once Gotou renews his attention towards Agawa.

Like we talked yesterday about it, I would also like to let the baseball guy get a more important role in the story before an ending of this work.
The plot of the doujhin would actually fit here a bit too, even though we got inuaki included. If we think rationally about the plot the last obstacles in the story are: the baseball guy; Gotou has to decided for one of them; possibility what will happen with inuaki. In my opinion Inuaki will be done for in this arc and about the role of the prez i don’t know actually. Hope that the author will not include some new characters that were not in the original work.

The only way I'll see a foursome with Gotou and the three main girls coming into fruition is if we get alternative endings to this story.

If Takeda somehow managed to make it work in the main story then yes, he is a genius.
