At this point, I can’t think of a single reason why Agawa-san is still the main girl in this series. She has no redeeming qualities. Her hooking up with another girl shouldn’t even be surprising anymore. With her body count, she's probably slept with half of Tokyo by now.

Takeda had a perfect chance to build off Gotou’s new confidence. He could have used that moment to help Gotou grow into a more well rounded character. At the same time, he could have pushed Agawa-san to change by making her realize she found something genuine with Gotou, something that could have pulled her away from being just a jump off. Instead, we are left with unnecessary regression for Gotou while she keeps sleeping with whoever she wants.

I get it, that is the title of the series, but that does not mean the MC has to stick with a girl who brings nothing good to the story. A simple plot twist where Gotou falls out of love with Agawa-san could improve the series in a huge way. Honestly, it would make me respect Gotou more instead of seeing him as a cuck.

There are other girls who clearly outshine her. Takeda could have used Akito and Shige as genuine new love interests for Gotou, giving him the chance to move on from Agawa-san and fall for someone who actually wants the best for him and is truly into him.

Maybe I am asking for too much. I get it, This isn't that kind of series. Still, the potential is there, even if Takeda chooses not to see it.

Well, screw it. If Agawa san can get her kitty scratched, why can’t he?
