Agawa really broke Gotou, who started have the belief of sex with someone you have feelings for, that the act should be meaningful than treating it as a simply activity like playing a video game like Agawa is doing. Now he's just down to having sex, not thinking about the teacher's childhood promise, the commitment of marriage. I mean, he's already sex addled a while ago but still. He doesn't have any good influence, Kume did help out and cure MC's ED, but actually I don't think it'll help him out because now he's just back to more sex. Agawa has unintentionally corrupted Gotou, breaking was little system of moral he had.

Also, as always, even when MC has parents, they don't seem to do any parenting when they are very much needed. Where's the dad to impart to manly wisdom to his son? Mother is about to find out at least (did his parents never found out their son's bad grades?) but I don't know if it'll lead to proper intervention in Gotou's life, and it's just more pulling him down into more sex life (as it's the direction of the manga).

Akito could have been a positive force to MC if she managed to pull him back into baseball, but alas, it's Gotou who pulled her into debauchery. Well at least that got fixed when Akito had her friends back it seems, but it also shows beyond sex, they don't really connect (baseball is all but forgotten for now). Maybe it's a set up for Akito to move on from her childhood crush. Author will probably make a NTR scene, showing Akito fall in love with another dude, maybe that Kawata guy or whatever name that sparked conflict between Akito and her friends. I don't think this manga will go to a harem route so every girl will eventually move on, and the final girl is obviously Agawa, unless author choose the loner route, it can make sense as Gotou choosing to involve himself led to his destruction, so getting away from her and rebuilding himself is a legit end. Though unlikely for a crack manga like this, I think he'll get the girl anyway.

I like the scenes of Gotou talking to his friends, early on Gotou got to talk about his troubles, but lately it's played for laugh mostly, to show Gotou's messed up state of the day. I wish his friends have more presence (chapter 89 was nice for that), especially the afro dude, I forgot his name, he's been somewhat a rock to MC.

I've binge read the manga, so I'm using this chapter thread to write down some thought, well mainly chapters 74 75. I don't know how to feel about this one. I kind understand what Agawa is trying to say, the personality Gotou is projecting is fake, it isn't him. He can talk to girls, he even get to fuck multiple girls, he figured he's now those douchebag fuckboi so he has to act like it, the confident I'm going to fuck today, to show he did it, he improved from the awkward and shy loser. He doesn't actually feel confident, it's just the situation where he can get sex from these people he knows (he wouldn't be able to pull with girls he doesn't know). There's also the end of CH70 and start of CH71, Gotou's expression changed from serious to this smug. Agawa is pointing out this fake side of himThis is fine, but I have issues with her.

The first is Agawa basically destroying Gotou for no good reason. Agawa pointed out he lacked skills, he got better and showed it, she even look to like it before Gotou reveal he learned from Inukai. Gotou specifically learned how to please a woman, but still Agawa warned him not to trust the guy, as she knows he's a scumbag. Doing so though, it's like she's dismissing his efforts of improving himself for her. He brought her half sister, she praised him (he did get 100 on his extra lesson tests, and she seems to enjoy sex with him), but again Agawa fired that down. Akito is interesting, Agawa pointed out Gotou didn't even notice how unhappy she was, even though she doesn't really know her she still saw (CH71) through her. But it is also the case for her, she failed to notice how her words have affected Gotou (both before when she criticized his sexual skills, and now). I don't know if the author intended, but Agawa avoided looking at Goto once she apologized. And what an apology, "sorry, teehee" and swept everything under the rug. She placed importance in communication, but here it seems she just run away, she didn't want to discuss the situation she created.

The second is this Agawa running away from Gotou. Before this went on, we had Agawa trying to defend Gotou against Kume. Obviously she has some feelings for Gotou, she cares for him, that's why she also pointed out how fake he was behaving. This is Agawa who doesn't mind having sex with scumbag like Inukai, so it was important for her to note. But afterwards, after being disillusioned with guys for awhile, she just pay zero attention to someone she supposed to care, a friend I would think, and simply switch to going after girls (well that one les friend). She could be dealing with her own feelings no doubt, she still basically abandoned Gotou, as it doesn't look like they talked since then. She's not an all knowing character who knows the right thing to do or say, but she's not even trying here, and just indulge in sex like she always had. I guess she simply has shallow relation to people around her, what can I say at this point. Very self centered, but fine to me, at least let Gotou be on a healthy path of building himself up, not this new character that came out of nowhere similarly like Akito and get Gotou back into self destroying debauchery.
I like your intensive engagement with the story, and it's interesting how different readers reach different conclusions about this controversial manga (as heated discussions of past chapters have shown).

I have different takes regarding Agawa and the characters' views on sexuality and romance in general. Despite casual sex being rampant, Agawa, Shigemi, Shiina, Akito and Gotou all seem to believe in sexual exclusivity when it comes to romantic relationships. Shigemi states that Gotou will be hated if he confesses to Agawa that he "loves everyone", and Gotou cries as a result since her insightful words rang true for him. Earlier in the story, Shiina states that confessing to Agawa will trouble her, since Agawa will be saddened to have to cut off her sex friends from her life (not the true reason why Agawa became sad, but it shows that Shiina thinks love means sexual exclusivity). After Gotou's confession to Agawa during the subsequent threesome with Agawa and Shiina (note: this confession isn't very convincing because it was done during a threesome), Agawa says that she doesn't do boyfriends and only has sex friends, showing that she draws a line between casual sex and romance. I'm not arguing for or against sexual exclusivity (since I think it's up to everyone to decide for themselves), and just wanted to point out that many characters in this story do have an understanding and acceptance that romance implies sexual exclusivity.

As for Agawa, it's true that she opened the door for Gotou's sexual journeys, but it's hard to blame her for Gotou's downfall. Gotou isn't just seeker of pure love, and is also a horny teenager who's been tempted by many other women (Shiina, Akito, Shigemi, Kiyomi - all baddies imo). Agawa has never stated that she wants Gotou to romantically pursue her, and Gotou does this because it's his own dream to date and love her. While we see that Agawa wants something more fulfilling than a sex-based relationship (especially recently), she's also shown a great aversion for intimacy and has consistently pushed Gotou away whenever his love for her comes up. She doesn't "destroy" Gotou when she rejected his playboy self. Rather, Agawa points out the inconsistency between the sweet virgin boy she slept with (aka the real Gotou who she likes best) and the cocky playboy persona Gotou adopts (which she finds irritating), and Gotou becomes distraught because he knows deep down that his true personality isn't that of a playboy despite his efforts to become one (both for Agawa and for his horny self).

Agawa isn't begging for Gotou to be her lover, and the manga shows us readers that she's not a shallow, selfish person who enjoys casual sex above all. She helped Gotou out with classroom chores, helped him lose his virginity, spoke out against Inukai for not using protection with other girls, encouraged Akito to practice safe sex by gifting her a condom, abstained from contacting Gotou while studying and during summer break out of concern for his test scores, cooks for her mother, etc. Instead, I think she's just a wholesome but misguided girl trying to find happiness in a complex and confusing world.

Even when Agawa is the catalyst, the main reason Gotou collapses again and again is because he's currently not strong enough to live up to his own ideals and goals. He struggles to adhere to his own morals, and always comes to regret every time he betrays his true self. The onus is on Gotou to get back up, mature as a person and try again because he, not Agawa, has chosen to pursue the path towards romance, which still remains his greatest desire. Gotou's inner battle between love and lust is a fascinating one, and he will face many more trials and tribulations before he becomes a man worthy of Agawa's love.

Chapter 93: Your Mother is Still (Here)…
IMG_5628.jpegIMG_5629.jpegIMG_5630.jpeg
So Gotou’s mom walks in on them while coming to bring them tea, but fortunately Kiyomi still had her top on so she just pulled it down and so she and Gotou are able to conveniently hide their lower nakedness just in time. Still though, Gotou’s mom asks why they are just sitting there with the lights off, “just talking” Kiyomi says. Gotou’s mom leaves the room and so Kiyomi apologizes for being so reckless with his mom in the house and makes to get ready to leave herself.
IMG_5631.jpegIMG_5632.jpegIMG_5633.jpegIMG_5634.jpegIMG_5635.jpeg
But instead Gotou just bends her over and continues fucking her, even as Gotou’s mother calls through the door to ask if Kiyomi’s staying for dinner, which Kiyomi declines while struggling to keep up her normal tone of voice.
IMG_5638.jpegIMG_5639.jpeg
Presumably the next day at school, Shigemi suddenly asks Agawa out of the blue “You two have gotten pretty close lately, haven’t you? You okay?”
Which ends the chapter.

So Gotou has zero sense of shame to keep fucking his teacher. Sasuga "Takkun".

Seems Shigemi ain't bein' happy with Agawa's behavior, at least that's more interesting than Gotou's descent to the abyss of uncontrolled lust.

This will be interesting between them now. Will they have a friendship drama or will it be a stepping stone for her to think about her doings slowly. We still do not know if she saw them during the festival and we will get to know it in short time. The other girl will meddling much too imo.

If anything how the fuck can the mother not tell that's there's currently two people fucking? said teacher can barely finish a sentence because of said sex.

Well Shigemi did ask a pretty loaded question. “Hey I know you two are lezing out, you satisfied with that Agawa?”

Maybe she didn’t want to believe what was happening or even approves of it.

Do not think so. She has a stricter death stare to people that annoy here, like in the chapter of her summer term activities. I guess that she did not expected to hear such a question from Shigechi. Could be that they will discuss it more in a private discussion.
My prediction is that Agawa will state out that she saw her with Gotou and leave the conversations after hearing the truth from Shigechi ( Gotous problems and that his mind is still fixed on her, even if he does not know yet himself). That could start the process of questioning her doings towards him.
