I mean if you wanna compare it to the rest of the garbage free falling without getting axed. at the very least some of the characters got personality, it’s different from the norm a bit, and I enjoy mc’s personality makes me think of some of those older animes where the mc was not some boring teenager who has no backbone nor personality of their own besides being a self insert. But as I always say, to each their own, every pokemon has its fan without exception.
