Guess the author doesn't plan to drag this battle for long. Yeah making a 3-way battle sometimes mean biting more than you can chew, even for professional author. The delivery is also not bad so i don't have much qualms. Now i'm just wondering what sort of enemy taisui is that even seimei, who can make contingency plan for shuten, cannot handle alone...

Wow that was a boring chapter. Seeing as this manga is just a battle shounen series with spirits now, not unlike Shaman King, I'm not surprised they have "filler-esque" arcs that remind me of those seen in Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, etc.

Ever since Yayoi said she's capturing spirits to defeat a boss spirit in earlier chapters I already knew this was an action/battle shounen series with horror sprinkled in, so if you were expecting this to be pure horror series you should've dipped a long time ago. Tbh I enjoyed this chapter, it's a bit anticlimactic but it was cool seeing Keitaro being badass finally even tho he was possessed by the priest.

I think it is a good thing Shuten Douji got focused on. Having multiple battles and jumps is bit hard to catch up.

Closest example is Wano Arc. Everyone fighting everything and they keep switching opponents,it is a headache to read.

You have to reread it few more times to fully grasp it.

Right now, we still have 2 space ghost, ghost in a shell org and face peeler.

I was talking to some friends about this chapter and one didn't get what the face-wearing ghost was talking about when he spoke of aesthetics. Another friend said this:

"Basically, he didn't baste the fear turkey and face-stealer took offense to that."
