I would enjoy a plot twist where Amona's people are suffering from catastrophic low birth rate, and that the succubus is trying to correct that. They have vetted the Ronni guy and are in cahoots with the church to get them married and with kids. The story then goes from one of adventure to one of trying to avoid becoming responsible adults for as long as possible.
