The story is weird because of the balance between the NPC and the player. It's like the the demon kid is the main character since he's the Demon Priest, but he's an NPC, so inherently thought of as less important than a player. Then the player gets very little development to the point that she doesn't even look like she's that important. So we're left with two characters that don't look like they matter that much.

Granted, we're only in chapter 10, so maybe it'll pick a direction, but so far, it seems like it's kind of just wandering.

I like this so far, it's neat how it's presented as a real world but a game as well

the name made it sound like it's a spell that grows a plant, which would make sense to depend on temperature. can't grow crops out of frozen soil
