I see people talking about game flopping when they didn't deserve to, but not usually about games who themselves deserved fully their downfall.
so let's talk about them, for example, I'm talking about games like concord that were released to make money off a trend 8 years too late and came with a cost of 40 bucks at launch.
the more recent and high profile the game, the better.

To understand the first, imagine if Half-life 3 is available tomorrow and is just plain bad. Yes, that's it !

For the second, imagine a game with very high expectations from a genius game developper, the one and only John Romero who made DOOM. Then imagine the game who wait for years is just totally broken and unplayable, with a shitty story, and a bad gameplay, with confusion lelve-design. The last two are a sin when they comes from John Romero.

Isn't it implied in leaks that the ones we see die in the main story are actually clones. And Since it's a live service game, more story would come out.

the game has a player average of like 30 ppl (https://steamdb.info/app/315210/charts/ 66 but I was close enough).

they are only making more content rn cause they promised the investors 4 seasons. you bet they're gonna shut it down as soon as the 4th season ends.

to be fair, the marketing/hype around the game was pretty well handled, that being said, while it may not have had the 3A budget, it fmdef had that level of polish and optimization.

nah, for 3A games in general.

(seriously, they've been kept in the yearly release mines for so long they forgot how to compress anything or how to do optimisation, which is why I keep saying that Nintendo was smart by making the switch underpowered)
