This was a very sad chapter. But I'm happy it's not all just fighting one thing after another, but the author explores the emotions of the character's, too. It's satisfying.
I wonder if these gifts he gets (part of Yurival's soul, now Strovon's power) will stay with him, or could they be used only once? It'd be pretty neat if he could use them whenever necessary.

If you think about, it would only make sense. How is one able to build a career on this business, (which is told to us that there are ppl that can do that). If you always accumulate the dmg you take, in every mission, ppl would last 2 or 3 years, with luck.

So it could be basicaly, like this. If you completed the mission, and you did not die before the end. The collateral dmg does not matter. But if you failed, well sucks for ya.
