This will likely end in a similar fashion to how it began. With a lot of nonsense. At least Monster-san is aware he will be f***ing like rabbits with Popa if they go at it.
WHAT?!
No one died?
This is Minazuki Suu, right?
Half of the cast should have died at least once or twice if this was made by Suu (RIP Harpy twins, you will always be missed *sniff*).
Although... humanity as a whole did pretty much die, but that was all in the past. And Suu didn't even use a whole arc to explain that while riding the feels roller-coaster up and down.
Now imagine the kiss not being enough. Instead, you have to do something a lot more, in the middle of everyone else battling. I don't think I'd be able to get it up.
Final chapter after this!!! Why, what about finding a solution, burh, there has got to be more. The author dude produces great series but damn if it isn't enough.
@jimkage Most of this author's works are either pretty dark from the premise (Judas, Plunderer), or start off as harem/romcom hijinks and then there's an arc or twist that runs the reader over with the feels train (all the rest). It's a bit of an acquired taste - if you enjoy the lighthearted comedy, you probably won't like it suddenly going into dark or heartstrings-pulling territory.
That's why people have been saying that in the comments. Not because he just writes dark/depressing/sad stuff, but because he has a habit of turning something that looks like a harem comedy into something emotional quite suddenly.
