At least we now know Suzu is a villain. The MC knows that now as well, so I expect we won't be seeing much of her anymore. Hopefully we will see the scene where the scumbag instructor drops her like a rock, leaving her with nothing, no friends and certainly no older crush. Peculiar Mikuni plans to use Suzu against Kei, considering Suzu is Kei's known enemy now, just like he is himself.
Japanese insurances must be funny. An accidental fire isn't covered by an insurance, but an arson is? You'd think it would be the other way around, if anything. Natural catastrophes often aren't covered by basic insurance plans, but an accident is the very thing people usually take an insurance for, so it's ridiculous it's not covered. Artificial cases (done on purpose) are the far most muddy situations because there's always a high chance for a fraud there. Insurance companies would study those extra carefully. It's hilarious the MC is hoping for an arson, keeping that in mind, especially when she's (I can't really say he's because it's from Kei's side) in debt and receiving the insurance money would solve that. Quite suspicious indeed. Well, Japan is indeed an alien land from a European point of view.
