@DirkHardpeck Actually, not just western fans were super dissatisfied but also Japanese comments also thought that the ending for DomeKano or even the last arc was super bullshit so it couldn't have been just western viewers harassing but possibly also Japanese viewers which would probably be more disheartening since the manga is first written for Japanese individuals and within their writing story style.

It got to the point where the discord translating this stopped posting leaks, spoilers, or even linking the translations.

SOOOOOOOO................Domestic Girlfriend in a nutshell if it was Isekai, Personally i hold no grudge or negative opinion of the manga since it pulled me in and got me to read 80+ chapters in one sitting when i wasnt caught up, of course either ending for the manga wouldve garnered diffrerent opnions so i was content that they had a kid together since i was OBVIOUSLY team Rui but its not like im the author so i was fine with the fact he Married Hina since if he didnt at least have a relationship with one or the other at the end i wouldve flipped out

Why lie on the Internet? A large portion of the Japanese readers were alright with the end. Well the ones that spoke about it at least. Not to mention pretty much every tweet from JP on her tweets were friendly.

It was just the entitled westerners being complete wastes of spaces that were the problem and always will be. Manga becoming mainstream here was a mistake.

Not to mention the sales for the final 2 volumes were the same as the others. No decline because they hated the ending like some narratives etc

So, when will someone go back and translate the 170+ missing chapters? I haven’t skipped ahead and read any spoilers, nor am I going to. And I am not going to listen to everybody else’s crappy opinions about an ending, or four, when they haven’t even finished reading more than half the damn story. Skipping all those chapters and going straight to translating the ending was kind of a dick move in my opinion. Thank goodness I have enough self restraint not to jump ahead unlike so many other people.
