Double tap to switch pages from a double page

Hey, folks.

The reader right now changes to the next (or previous) page of a double page immediately as it reaches its edge.

Suggestion:
Have it change to the next or previous page by tapping twice the switching command

I looked for a similar suggestion on the megathread, did not find it.

Off the top of my head, I would either have to 1. create inconsistent page turning behaviour, 2. make it consistent by forcing everyone to double tap in every case, or 3. make yet another binary setting for this. None of these options are appealing.

I understand where you're coming from, but I personally find it too easy to change pages by accident when you're reading a double page. This double tap to change from double pages is a feature I have seen in a few other readers, and I think it'd be nice to have, though I am not sure if it would be too much of a pain to implement.

Also, you don't mention you're having this problem while tapping with what, but I guess I have to assume you're talking about the keyboard since you don't tap to scroll with the mouse.

Anyway, the problem is less with it being difficult to implement (it's not, particularly) and more about causing even further cluttering to the settings UI when it's already pretty bad as it is. I could add an option to every little minutiae people ask for, but with each one I add the more annoying the menu gets to navigate and operate for everybody else.

I'd much prefer not to add a setting for something that only few would use, especially if there's possibly a way to fix the issue without having to rely on options in the first place. As for whether I can figure out how to do that, dunno, we'll see.

I guess I really didn't make it clear. I was talking about using the keyboard, yes. It's just that if I am scrolling close to the edge of a double page and hit the arrow key in that direction it is very easy to change pages by accident.
