sadly came across that shit on x today and, damn, am I disappointed. You might call this "mild by comparison" but the moment artists abuse beloved characters from actual manga series and betray all their readers for the bag it is over. Just have the char look similar? Change the name?

One can argue "it is called -IF-, duh" but even the whole "non-NTR" setting is just her showing off full nude to other dudes.

There already are (japanese) comments flaming and making sure and asking "is he really the father of their daughter?" and stuff xd.

More so with the author having started a little series just last year, with the earliest entry just shortly before the NTR request in which they are happily married with a child. Funnily enough, that is the exact reverse of what happened here. Here FMC is turned into a braindead husk that just goes along with it to some degree.
The author called it "IF route with slight NTR" but it is full on rape and the end of the IF story has her acknowledge what happened and be okay with it, lol. This one is pretty harsh.

Imagine, after years of following, being baited into a cute sequel with their child and while waiting getting this shoved into your feed, her body being shared publicly and the full version being her actually really raped.

Authors pulling these sorts of stunts just dilutes and reduces the investment people would have into works generally. Imagine Harepeko Oyako to Motokare Yanushi pulling a happy family in the following chapters to straighten out the criticism and suddenly bam an Oyakodon wh*ring on fanbox. Sure it will sell like hotcakes. But how many hundreds of embarrassed commentators defending the FMC would there be on this forum

For Imasara, the manga plot so far seems to go that Yami NTRed the heroine and the justification was that she had a rough background and implied to be doing CD or was taken by her step dad. And then suddenly we get a chapter where Yami had her first time. It does not add up. Throwing everyone into confusion.
