right, so of COURSE "just by being the hero" grants you passively the ability to ABSOLUTELY negate TOTAL regeneration regardless of skill

how convenient   that's gotta be a record
It's actually not all that uncommon of a trope. Sometimes the Demonking has an aura that weakens the natives, other times the Heroes ability cancels out their demonic macguffin. Yes it's kinda stupid, but it's only purpose is to validate the summoning of an otherworldly hero to save "insert individual/group/nation/world/universe here"

Gettin some is indeed the ultimate motivator.

also I can relate to the Demon Lord on spiritual levels. That shit just ain't fair.
I took one look at his face when it was revealed and was like "I am going to relate to this guy so hard, aren't I?"
Great job on the artist's part.

Instantly love the demon king. Being terrified of the dad is just so relatable. Like the only reason he’s still around is because of his regeneration. And how the manga goes from serious to comedic just fits so well with the art, reminds me of One.

Quoting myself from previous chapter comment

So yes, manga did get straight up axed and there is only 3 chapters left, manga finished Vol.1 and rushed the fuck out of Vol.2
I hope not. If we get lucky, sometimes the mangaka goes on their own storyline past the end of the novel because the writer is okay with that.

I really like it when cliche characters like the Demon Lord acts in counter-trope manners.
That is to say, we expect the Maou to be a caricature of: "Mwahaha!" and that's about it. It's always nice to see different strokes of the same concept.

Welp, for shame, but also not completely unexpected.
As a comic, this is pretty amusing, but if they're expecting to sell anything, I don't think anyone would really buy. As an ad for the LN / WN, it's obvious that the author is just thinking of shit as they go, and didn't put much thought into anything.

It's nice to read, but I also don't have any expectations out of it to go anywhere, so I doubt anyone would put any money into it, really..

That's wierd considering everything we've shown so far about his relationship with the wife. I assume he is not there to fuck?

In brothel there two of his acquaintances. The owner - his disciple, the elf courtesan - his and mother's disciple as well. There few subplots in port city as well. This two will be involved in rebuilding hero party, disbanded after all. And elf, been her disciple can contact mother at any point.

so even ultra healing and immortality couldn't save the demon lord from ptsd. he even needed consoling and a cope session where they accuse the mc of being something not human. :kek: i know i shouldn't be laughing but i just can't help it. i also noticed his horn is still broken and i'm assuming that was a result of the monumental ass beating he took:dogkek:. that means the mc could probably kill him permanently if he just kept trying.

I'm just sad the son didn't respond to "He's immortal" with "That sounds like his problem"

Look, if you have one copy of ultimate demon-king slaying ability, who are you going to give it to? To the Hero, of course.
Note that they don't know how the Hero is actually supposed to do it. Maybe there is a Hero's Sword stuck in stone somewhere.

if that was all it took his father would surely have found it and done it himself

I'm talking about the bullshit ability to passively win even if you're incompetent because of plot convenience

Such swords tend to be more principled than the bunch of slutty swords the demon general had.
On a more practical level, such an ability would clearly be magical. Probably draining the user's mana like crazy whenever it's drawn. And so, the son of the world's greatest fighter and greatest mage would be the best candidate to use it.

Passively win? Nope, there is no "hero" with ability like that.
There are only heroes with ability to bypass the main villain's invulnerability, and heroes with unnaturally great talent for fighting. The rest is always up to them.
Even if it's a story where humans are just pawns of fate, and heroes are guaranteed to succeed at that "up to them" part.

Makes sense to me. The hero's power negates the villain's power. Positive and negative cancel each other out.
It isn't even a particularly novel idea. (I think its best execution was in King of Braves GaoGaiGar, though I am biased.)

I kinda love Buff Dad's nonchalant "yeah, I punched the demon lord so hard he died, but he regenerated".
Almost as much as "yeah, I took a walk to Atlantis, but who would believe me" and "yeah, I turned myself into a walking WMD to impress a girl, like any normal red-blooded man".

But poor bunny girl. "You're travelling with us, don't act like you ain't walkin' to Atlantis."
