Besides, the girl might be blackmailing her into at least giving her the time of day, but she clearly wants to foster goodwill (and have a 1-on-1 date), so odds are she would agree to adapt to her schedule.

I'll definitely agree with this. This series was starting to get a tiiiiiiiiny bit stale IMO since we never really get any reaction out of Yuzu, so (even though you could tell from chapter 1 that this is a fluffy manga where they're gonna end up together) things were feeling way too one-sided.

Plus, unlike a lot of people here, I loooooove a cute genki shit-disturber character, especially cause it's the kind of manga where we know she ain't a real threat (Minami basically already rejected her), so the kouhai is just fun for me.

Also, since folks mentioned the raws of the next chapter, I gotta say I read them as well, but I really liked them. Finally, the plot is moving somewhere! Exciting developments!

Yes. I even included why. The blackmail is clearly to get the time of the day, so she at least gets a chance to shoot her shot properly. The entire purpose is to let her make the mc like her, so she clearly wouldn't want to inconvenience her to the point she's hated (even if she is already stretching it in terms of that, even before forcing her to break a promise).
Besides, it's not like it would be hard for her to adjust her schedule to match another slot, so this isn't some kind of rules lawyering to get out of the deal.
