Next chapter in 10 days, as usual.

New volume is coming out on 22nd October. If you like the series and want to support the author and series, please consider buying it.

Also, gotta love Eguchi's 4th wall breaking on page 9.

Please, for the love of god, do not back out now. Tell her yes. Tell her you want to stop the practice and be in an actual relationship with her. Tell her you love her.

I’m keeping my hopes up because this is a Seinen and not a Shounen. If it was a Shounen then he’d 100% chicken out and we’d have to sit through 100+ chapters of “practice dating”

Well, this is the author of that "secretly dating a colleague" manga (devoid of major misunderstandings and was moving along quite well), so I'm expecting great things.

To be honest, i'm kinda disappointed with this manga plot after this.
Sigh... Can't we just get some chill & comfy adult romance manga without some NTR bait at all.
He say yes, but Ban reject him because she only had bad experience with dating. She's only ever been in relationship once in college (she also lost her virginity to this guy) and never get into any relationship after that until she met MC. MC got heartbroken but later they reconcile and restarting their dating experiment.
But then guess what, suddenly the landlord tell them there's gonna be a new roommate in the apartment, and it's the fu**ing Ban's ex-boyfriend (Author why??). He then asked Ban to dinner for some catching up, and MC actually caught both of them after dinner, and then MC got jealous.
The ex-bf actually a nice guy, Ban and him only portrayed as platonic friend (for now, because it's only been 2 chapters since he introduced), there's actually no reason to hate his character.
Nevermind the love triangle is actually happening.
But still, i hate that my another favourite comfy romance manga choose the ntr bait path.

Edit: The drama is becoming worse and much painful to read, love triangle is now happening, and event though it looks like she love the MC, she still slap him when he want to kiss her, and now another misunderstanding.

Thank you for saving me the trouble of continuing to read this one. That sounds like total ass.

Ok, people need to calm the fuck down.

I think some don't really get the premises of this story. The story is supposed to have all the cliche tropes from Japanese/Korean TV dramas. The funny bit is that those tropes are just that, tropes, and it's clear as day that the story isn't moving towards the direction of any of these dramatic developments. Ban and Yuuki's story develops with all these tropes on the background. That's all.

Also, I knew that there would be a bunch of people crying "NTR, NTR, NTR!". Come on, grow up. This isn't your shonen high school romcom. It's a seinen story between two thirty-something people. Do you really expect stuff like ex-boyfriends or previous luggage not to show up? Why would two thirty-something people be trying to figure out love in the first place if their past wasn't full of errors and mistakes?

You just need to read to see what's going on.

Then again, you can read whatever you want, of course.

To add up, ch 22 of the raw just dropped I believe and this time the three of them, Ban, the MC and her ex went to the pool. And at the end of the chapter someone was holding her wrist and wasn’t sure if it was the MC or the ex since they look a bit similar and I was just scrolling faster. Might be the ex. Looks like the dramatic in the title is gonna keep going for a while.

Honestly idk what tf crossed the author’s mind to fumble so bad. I had a feeling when the tutor came back things would get dramatic and hoping the authors is able to handle it well. Few arcs before the ending when the author let Meguro started meddling into her friends business I felt like that was dumb and that’s when I felt like it his author has lost it. We get to the end and yep, that’s what happens. All that shit the tutor did like it never happened and having him tutor her again was wild. Enough of that. I checked the raws for this manga and I’m a bit disappointed. But I guess the drama is now starting

Ok, so I’ll explain here what’s going on so that the spoiler gang don’t get desperate.

Every single instance where Ban interacts with Harutaka (her ex-boyfriend) is completely aromantic. The guy himself seems to still have a thing for Ban, but Ban herself is currently head over heels for Yuuki. For crying out loud, on chapter 21 she literally gave him a head lock with her thighs. She literally had him sandwiched between her thighs, on purpose.

This whole thing with her ex-boyfriend is a) typical tv drama trope and b) only in the story to show what Ban’s feelings for Yuuki are. The contrast between what she felt for her ex (which at the end of the day was just friendship) and what she feels for Yuuki. Nothing more than that.

It is a bit sad, to be honest, to have to spell out what is the story because some people can’t wait and go check the raws, without actually understanding the language or even following the story properly.

Just read the story and enjoy it. Yes, there’s pseudo drama. But it’s not even real drama.
