The manga might be reflecting on the humanity of immigrants and the nature of hatred, but mass immigration has been disastrous for my country's culture in the last 20 years. That page where Kagami sees all the alien stands is incredibly relatable—though at least he's spared their awful music being blasted at maximum volume. The place I grew up in no longer exists, just the memory of it.
