This is stupid.
No matter how much of a plan you have, when everyone, including that guy mc looks up to, says that he has no chance of winning against someone twice his level no matter how low rank-up scores he got and mc got all s-rank... then a plan won't help. Had a plan helped the guy would have said there is a chance at twice the level if you plan well.

Either way though, it is even more stupid that ppl just lets that guy run rampant. No matter how much the govnt gives tacit consent to explorers killing other explorers (even ones with higher growth! Which is weird in itself), it makes no sense that other explorers decides to enable them and raise their ranks. Or that there are none with a sense of justice and abusing the tacit consent from govnt to be a vigilante, to prune such troublemakers early.

it's been brought up even in recent chapters, but you level up at the same rate based on kills, but get less stats if you get "safe" exp. mc and gang always try to make things a bit harder on themselves so they gain more stats even at low levels, hence why mc was told even double his level should be ok.

It's also why power-leveling isn't worth much if you're being carried, but that won't stop some people from trying anyway so they can get bigger numbers

rereading, it was actually just "twice as strong" which is vague, and I don't actually know the stat difference factor, but yea, it was harsher than i rememebered ("you're basically dead" being what was said vs what i thought to be "hard time")

And now that they've gotten a nuke through scummy spawn camping, they think they can 13v1 the MC on Rust. he also completed his gear/armour set with Gacha. sure, 15 is over double of 7(which is 14). but he has gear, experience and we only saw 2 Gold Items(armour pieces) out of his 20 gold Gacha pulls. he might have gotten something spicy (aka. plot will save MC)

You forgot that he was informed by the guy who knows, that he would die no matter what if the level was double. So gear can't overturn this.
