I've been following Dungeon Meshi since very early (shoutout to Minovsky on Twitter for being an early champion), and it's hard to believe it's over... I was tearing up by the end of the chapter. What a masterwork of art and storytelling. I will definitely be watching the anime and reading any supplemental material, and following whatever Ryoko Kui does in the future.

Thanks EHS for all these years, this one has become my absolute favorite manga. I’ve reread it so many times and own every physical volume, I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little sad it ended but it was long coming and the ending feels perfectly on theme. Gonna wait for the supplementals and volume extras, would love to see old king Laios with children, and an epilogue to everyone else. Kui is a genius and hope her future stuff does great as well.

i'm really glad Falin got successfully resurrected! The weird feet will be a fair trade off with the success!
I wonder why the Winged Lion appears, and what he is thinking. Perhaps he wants to ruin the resurrection? Maybe we'll never know!

And so it ends at last. I'm very satisfied with the end but I can't help but get misty eyed, it was such a great series and it will be missed. The bight side is that it's been years since I read from the start, so I can do it again and it will feel fresh and next year the anime on Netflix, I hope we get a full adaptation, 97 chapters isn't that long for a full adaptation.
