So direct confirmation (again) that the sword remembers too. Ageha's "Smell" is literally just a metaphorical feeling she got about Kiska, and not some magical alternate timeline smelling power.
Without reading ahead and spoiling anything at all, at this point I am convinced that Dark Ageha
(provisional name, subject to change) remembers exactly what she told Kiska during the previous loop (after all, not only she repeated her own warning word for word, she also verbally underscored that she remembered the same warning from the previous loop when she killed Judith), and thus her powers go beyond a mere “smelling”.
(This literally seems more powerful than even Okabe Rintarou's Reading Steiner because Dark Ageha remembers
future events of an alternate timeline.)
This leaves us with at least two possibilities: either she is outright lying about being only able to smell, or she does not have the memories of True Ageha
(provisional name, subject to change) and that was the only reason that prevented her from remembering the previous loop.
The latter possibility would leave her with much less real ability to protect Ageha (that's kinda tragic for her) and would not explain how her identity could have surfaced over True Ageha in time to “smell” Kiska and to snap his neck (unless her personality is literally triggered by that “smell” somehow or unless every death of True Ageha, even as voluntary as her suicide, automatically triggers the personality of Dark Ageha for every next loop until Dark Ageha decides to rest).
