Once I started reading this today, I knew this would be a gem. I usually have my doubts about isekais, but when the MC doesn't get an OP skill(or a skill that allows him to be OP), and the writing is strong enough to support the buildup of his character and situation, it can be so good.
Like, he isn't afraid of sexual intercourse, but he is selective as to who he'll do it with. And his sexual activities isn't limited to just sex either. It really makes his situation and personality stand out. Not to mention the buildup TO the actual sex feels super worth it when it actually happens.
It certainly helps that the world building is interesting. The harem element has the women coming in and out of MCs life, making the more main female protagonists feel fresh(or to say it another way, they don't get stale using the same antics from its chapter 1).
As for this chapter, he was soooo close to giving some affection to Rouge. I kinda dislike she's made into a punching bag every time she goes a bit on the offensive, but I felt like it wasn't deserved this time, since Shirou was the one who made the not-intentionally flirtatious comment first. Funny that he IS attracted to Rouge, just that he doesn't want to give her the pass too easily; overly beautiful women tend to do that IRL😂 .
