So I remember people complaining about the web novel a while ago, when he was about to leave the island, hoping that the manga wouldn't end up the same as the web novel. So I'm curious, has it? I think it might have been him splitting up with the others that they didn't like, and it looks like that's happened now. They made it sound like nothing sexy will happen anymore, is that true?

Wow, that whole last arc was really well done. The little journeys, the send off for Cecily, all the people they ran into as well. I was worried given everyone who read the novel was saying that when Shirou turned into the saint, the quality of the story would drop, but it tuned out to be quite enjoyable. Cecily and Chris meeting is going to be amazing, I wish that would be in the foreseeable future, but Shirou wanting to avoid war at all costs sounds just about right.

After the party disbands, he will cross-dress to hide his identity. He goes to a inn in the next town, gets found out fast by the innkeeper. The inn ain't doing well because the househusband is dead or something. He helps around, but this only lasts 1-2 chapters, since a backstabbing family of nobles finds him and takes him to their mansion. One of the daughters has some tragic backstory where she was raped and maimed and poisoned through the machinations of the evil older sister (this is hidden from everyone else). Because MC is the "Sage" he agrees to heal her. He sticks around their castle trying to heal her while the evil sister plots to rape and mind-break him with drugs (it partially works too). He eventually figures out the backstory and that the older sister is evil and thwarts her while healing the younger sister. After the evil sister is dealt with, he starts a relationship with the younger sister, but she gets wildly possessive and obsessed with him, and he starts getting tired of her and wants to leave again.

This is the point the web novel died.
