Starting with the brainwashing and going from there, wow, that party needs to die. Also, I'm with the others in not understanding how the rank of the adventurer changes the value of the goods? Only the rank of the goods should change anything, one would think... I mean, in many isekai/time travel type stories, the protagonist will use their knowledge to gain high ranked or otherwise rare things for early fortune...

their next quest fails on the mountain MC did not want to cross due to its danger, the replacement healer takes off and they seem to only survive because the monsters are the rare ones susceptible to the "hero"'s charm and he spends a week being "forcibly comforted" by the monsters....

They were also definitely over using Mc's potions, as it seems like they wanted some from the replacement to recover their fatigue on the climb, and might be addicts who cut off their supply. their skills are not on par with their ranks they accomplishments are due to doping and taking all the credit.

@Gotim18 Hmmm... Wierd. It looks pretty counterproductive. Why whould they bring non-combatant with them? Why woyld they ditch if she is useful and why would they take her in if she is useless?

@kwendy she was useful at the time, one of the pages shows that they were a D rank party and she an E rank support but now they are A and B rank while she is still E rank so they replaced her with a B rank magic user who specializes in healing.

not as useful as someone that doesn't need to be protected or slow down the march

She's not useless but she's just not useful enough to justify taking over a combatant that can fill the same role.

and the "hero" was stuck at D rank, about to give up being an adventurer before he heard rumors about her potions. They went to her town to test the rumors and "recruit" her. She and abusing her potions are the primary reasons they got their current ranks

The drop her because they feel a high ranked magical healer is better then a potion maker they have to protect constantly and whose rank never increased

From what I got (I am reading a MTL of 4 chapters from "Hero" Boy's perspective) it is because she is a supporter and does not fight, pretty much a "you did nothing in the fight, so no credit/reward for you" mindset. Except they are dependent on her potions to heal them (in the middle of a fight) and recover their energy. They ask the replacement healer to recover their fatigue while they are walking up the mountain and complain when she does not fully restore everyone (because she is not wasting magic incase it is needed for more important things later)

The guy is very self centered and grew up using magic to get his way, with what looks to be little repercussions, she is not a person to him, but a tool to use.

Does her brain get fixed later? It'd be annoying if she constantly thinking of the sociopath charmer hero (wtf is a hero with charm skill, his combat must be garbage tier, he might as well just work as gigolo).
