I reiterate my point. A used laptop is literally several hours of overtime/second part-time job. Bad writing.

Nah, he's eternally in the red despite help from his mom's job. That, and he's clearly been beaten down his whole life as a result of trying and failing and getting zero meaningful support up until Satou came and helped flip the script for him.

Just because you don't like the story (which, you've been bitching about one thing or another the last several chapters I've checked comments, weird you're so invested in something you seem to not being enjoying), doesn't mean the writing isn't internally consistent.

The fact you apparently would rather fabricate easily-disproven portions of the plot and only shift the goalposts once called on it is pretty indicative.

Look I get you're not too bright, replying to a year old comment kinda made that clear, but can you not with the nonsense circular logic? Regardless of his financial situation at the end of the month, a used laptop in Japan is literally like two days of gig work. Maybe even one. Two days of food delivery or a similar job. That's not my opinion nor is it subjective in any way, and it objectively makes this lazy writing. I do agree it's consistent in that it's consistently bad.

I won't even touch upon the "don't read it if your don't like it" crap, people who make those kinds of comments usually have really shit taste so they get irrationally defensive cause they're called out on it too often. Enjoy your slop and let old comments lie in peace.
