He was in the right though, Shizukuishi was trying to kill him without even giving him the benefit of doubt and hear him out, and even with his actions being "scummy" I personally prefer it that way than an MC that tries to be righteous every time.

@Mondemon yeah thats true, I was just hoping he would just tell her his secret though. Shes smart and even if he "traumatizes" her, the fact that he appeared as the demon lord immediately after he ran away as a human is SUPER suspicious for a smart girl like her. Hes practically busted at this point.

The plan to spy was dumb from the start. All he had to do was force a few human spies to spy on the classmates instead of going himself and making himself the ONLY suspicous person. He nearly died and KILLED THEM ALL multiple times, even almost dying to rabbits and orcs.

Its so hard to stomach but i just have to force myself to turn off my brain to enjoy it.

Actually, he faked a scared scream before appearing as Hellshaft and then said "so there's another one too, I'll kill you as well" this making Shizukuishi basically think that he was killed by Hellshaft and respawned somewhere later. Also, contrary to the demon npcs, the human ones have limited knowledge so I don't think they would make good spies.

@Mondemon good points. However, she still didn't witness his death and smart as she is, I don't think she'll buy that alibi until killing him herself. At least it was a decent try, but it's really a dumb plan. MULTIPLE times he almost died killing them all because of this dumb spy plan. As for npc spies, they'll work because he's barely getting any information aside from oh we're gonna do this quest next. What is his little bit of spying going to accomplish? What he should be focusing on is strengthening his own power and making it so they can't level up by constantly killing them with last boss units.
