As n advice, check whenerver you use words in past tense in a sentence with "did"
Its "did you just say x?" not "did you just said x?"
The did makes sai'd' irrelevant.

This chapter really needed better proofreading. There were mistakes on nearly every page. "Let get right into it!" That's just one of many similar errors. Even worse is, "Did he just said... hero?"
